Chester

We woke up to a cool visitor this morning.

"Do you know what that is ICE......it looks pretty big....Mommy noticed it had a hanging wing feather so maybe his wing is hurt. Darn, Mommy named him Chester so he is not a food choice."

Now he is stuck in the fenced in yard running all around ICE's yard.

Mommy threw some bird feed with corn and nuts out in the yard for Chester. He was out there for a few hours. We heard him honk loud and we ran to look out the window.

Chester ran into the fence, then he backed up and spread his wings then flew up, up and away....bye, bye, Chester=^Y^=

Well, obviously his wing wasn't injured too badly, then. He was a very handsome visitor. Wonder if he'd have been succulent or old and tough tasting. :-D

Mum says it looks like Chester is looking for a wife because in the first 2 photos he is carrying his wings low. He probably got the loose feather fighting with another male over a female. We don't know anything about that, we just think he looks tasty.

What a cool visitor and handsome too. Great photo shoot!
Our quail have come back for the summer. They scoot thru the wire fence and feast on chicken feed all day. They's gonna be some fat birds by end of summer, LOL.
