I am on watch for Dad to come home from the Hospital soon. Saturday night he started having chest pains but didn't tell Mommy till morning. Boomer drove our Dad to the Hospital Sunday morning. Monday he had a test done that showed one of his bypassed arteries was blocked. The test also caused him to have a mini stroke......he was seeing double so they changed his meds and he felt better.
First they were going to give him another bypass but then to Dad's relief they decided it would be safer to do a angioplasty so he is having it done Wednesday. Mommy has been on the phone updating his family and friends plus going to the hospital.
Mommy said she doesn't want another year like this one........the end of June, her brother passed in his sleep, ICE had 2 seizures, 2 weeks apart so his meds were made stronger.......shale started showing up in our first water filter, (we have 4 filters) so our well pump had to be checked and brought up higher. In April, Mommy had to get an endoscopy done to enlarge the esophagus ring (Schatzki ring) so she could swallow food normally again. Grammom had another fall but did not brake anything this time, she was just very sore for a couple weeks.
We are purring our lil whiskers out that Dad will be fine and come back soon so we can give him more furry shirts................We will return with an update and hopefully get back to blogging soon...Huggs!!!

Purrs and purrayers to your dad, we hope he'll be fine and home soon. The mom says stupid men (in general), brushing off serious health concerns and not getting medical care sooner. You want us to whap your dad for you, when he's home? A quick whap upside the head to smarten him up.
Yeah, 2011 hasn't been the best for a number of us....Alas, it's just life.
