Thank you so much!

Our very first internet furends are David and the CoolCyberCats. They sent these lovely flowers to our recovering Mommy. They came later yesterday and made Mommy smile for a change.........Thanks David, Donna, Leo, Orion, Andromeda, Apollo, Nova & sweet Calliope! Mommy LOVES daisies!!!!! Auntie Peggy, thanks so much for watching over our Mommy. We know you were thinking of her lots, you are our very SPECIAL Auntie!!!!
Mommie thinks one reason she felt so bad is how sick she was before the surgery. Also, the surgeon removed a very large mole next to Mommies navel and took lots of extra skin with it. That area kept bleeding for some time after surgery and now is very bruised! The nickel sized mole had stretched after Mommie had her first bean baby, Boomer who was born 8lbs 8ozs! Mommy kept getting teased back then about swallowing watermelon seeds.
THANKS again to all our blogger kitty furends for checking in on us and Mommie, for all your concern, purrs and prayers. We LOVE all of you....Thanks so much!!! OXOXOXOXOXO

Mommy is Home.........

but she had a rough time. She arrived at the hospital 9:00am and was ready and waiting until they finally came for her after 1 pm! They took her to a prep area where she waited another hour while others came, were set up with IV's and taken into surgery. Mommy was wondering if the doctor forgot her and went home! But at long last the surgeon walked in and Mommy told him how she felt because no one had let her or Dad know anything up to then. He said they were waiting for the operation room to be cleaned and her nurse would be right there to set up her IV. Everything went fast by then and Mommy woke up in recovery in pain so they gave her some meds. They kept telling her to take deep breaths but she said she couldn't 'cause it hurt. Then, after another 2 hours they took Mommy to her room but never told Dad! Then the surgeon came in to check on Mom and she asked where Dad was so he went to find out....here the shift changed and no one ever told Dad what was happening with Mom. 6pm Dad came in Mommies room, she still was hooked up to oxygen! The nurses made up for the previous craziness with getting her comfortable, putting pumps on her legs so she wouldn't get clots. Then 11 pm......24 hours since Mommy had any food or fluids, her blood pressure fell to 95/42 so the nurses set up an IV fluid bag and after awhile her pressure went up to 114/62. Mommy said it feels like all us kitties had a race over her belly while she was sleeping! She is hoping the next couple days she will feel better to go up the spiral stairs to her computer and help us get back on board. We all want to thank everyone for their prayers, purrs and concern! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!the Cat Street Boyz & Mommy Holly
