Hello....is anyone out there??? We keep getting lost in cyber space...the dead zone!!!! Our service had become crazy....on for an hour off for days! Mom called AGAIN about the problem and that now it is worse. Finally a Tech was sent out Friday morning and found the problem to be at the pole.......AGAIN, after another 78 hours a serviceman will be fixing our line at the pole. Hopefully that will fix the problem once and for all!!!!! Mommy says she is tired of paying for such crappy service........After we got the new wireless modem things seemed great and the feed was fast till the 9 1/2 days of rain and wind then we were even worse than before........We hope our message gets through and we will try and visit as our service will let us. We have our paws crossed that Monday it will be fixed for good!=^Y^=

Lost in Cyber Space!

We are here! Glad to see you! We know what being lost is like! Mom has been thinking of changing the type of service we have. Even though we have wireless the pages take forever to load! She says at her work the service is real fast! But then her job doesn't allow for her to be on the computer. She only goes on to look for art projects for the kids.... Napa Valley Unified Schools.
We seem to have the same problem here in Cape Town! Never dependable .... now what were we referring too? The internet or our beans not finding time to update our blog?
It's awful when the internets are down. We hope they get is fixed once and for all!
We had that same problem a year ago. Mum kept telling AOL that she thought it was the outdoor wire cuz it kept happening worse when it was windy. When she told them she'd had enough and was finishing with aol, they sent a technician out and he found the wire had nearly rubbed through on the pole.They put up 1 new pole and 2 new sections of wire. They sent her a new router and reduced her monthly payments too.
We hope your innernets get sorted out quickly cuz it's not a pretty sight when the mums go crazy!

Good to "see" you back. Glad your absence was just a computer problem. Hope they get that darn pole fixed right this time!
How annoying. We love the pic, though.
Are you on dial up? We were for years (only thing available) and I always had the same problem! They'd come out and it'd always be the box on the pole down the road. The technicians told me several times the problem was insect nests in the box. Anytime it rained my connection would get worse. Finally the cable company offered internet and we got that. No problems. Now we're on Verizon FIOS with no problems (knock on wood).
That's really annoying. We hope the'll keep their promise and fix the problem!
Hey what's it like out there in cyber space?? I thought maybe it's like drifting around in space without any gravity. Sure hope your Mom gets her internet fixed. Mom really likes your background with all the duckies. She sure keeps a watchout for them on the river here.
