Tinker

What do you do with a plain white wall? First you need inspiration. Hmmmmm, kitties, sleeping, need more exercise....and there you go! Of course they race up and down them but they snooze on them too! Last night, Toy, Tinker, & Ty were chasing each other from top the human catwalk, down the spiral stairs, through the livingroom, kitchen, to the diningroom, under the table, to the den and up the catwalks....then ran back, again... and again.... finally Toy quit. Ty then decided to play with his ping pong ball down the front stairs to the foyer. Now that's entertainment, who needs TV!=^Y^=

Mommy loves treasure hunting!

This is a real stained glass, bobble head kitty! One of us, and we are not tattling, ran up on the buffet and knocked over mommies other stained glass lamp. We boyz have made a pawmise, not to run up there and go near the glowing kitty, honest!

Expurrrrimenting again!

Mommy picked up a new litter for us to try. We are up to 3/4's P-Pod & 1/4 best cat litter. Both are flushable but this new litter is airer so it doesn't stick to the bottom that the rake can't get it up. Mommy likes the mild minty smell and that it goes lots further than the other. We have a sticky pad off the pan and it grabs the new litter off our feet....mommies smiling 'bout that!

Watchin' the deer!

We live right outside a 5000 acre park so we see deer, heron, owls, fox, & coyote!! We have even had bear tracks show up while the house was being built. I hope the tree frogs come back this year, they are so cute with their lil' suction cup toes.

Mommy put our favorite chair on the deck, it is so comfy! There are two super huge bees buzzin' 'round me but I'm not grabbin' em!











I'm gonna try not to grab em.......they are tryin' my patience..........Mom, not the flyswatter....ew!

I had my blood work Tuesday and my liver enzyme count is down by half but still in the double digits so I will be checked again in 2 weeks. I am a very finicky eater and my humans have a hard time finding a healthy and good tasting food that I will eat for more than just a week!

What's a furminator?!

There is a mystery going on around here. Mommy can't explain why Setzer, all of a sudden, isn't shedding! She said it can't be his new food because he has only been on it for a few days. Could it be his liver pills, a thistle, Sam-e mix, or could it be a thingy called the furminator? They had one in every room at the Vets, sooo, today mommy went out in search of one. You wouldn't believe all the fur she took off of us, you could stuff a big pillow! We like how it feels and most of us fell asleep. The furminator gets, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++++++From the Cat Street Boys!

I'M HOME!

and basking in the sun! Thanks to all purrrz out there for my recovery. I have pills to take and a new food, also I have to have my blood rechecked on Tuesday so please keep purrring that the enzymes are a lower count. The other boyz looked at me funny when I returned and Toy hissed! Mom said it's proof that furkids go by smell than just recognizing each other. After a couple hours everything was back to normal except Toy is still a brat....but that's normal for TOY! Later, Setzer

Gettin' exercise

When mommy comes I finally am freed from behind bars and get some exercise. Where's the windows, I want to see birds, feel the breeze on my fur...mommy, when do I get my release papers!

I'm getting better!

My normal weight is about 13lbs and I had lost 4lbs! I've only gained a pound back but I am eating on my own now and only spit up my pills today so I needed to get my meds in needles....I HATE NEEDLES!!!!! Mommy spent the afternoon with me and I fell asleep on her chest for almost half an hour! Snugglin' is sooooo nice, I can't wait to come home.

Setzer update...He has to stay in the hospital till he doesn't even puke once, or else he needs a liver biopsy....that sounds scary.....I know mommy is sad that she can't visit him today 'cause the clinic is closed except for the humans that feed and care for the sick kitties like my brother. When mommy visits Setzer early Monday......if he is feeling OK, she will get a photo of him and he can tell you how everything is going.......Thanks so much for all your purreyers!!!!!!

INTERIOR WINDOW KITTY LEDGE

All of us boyz love day napping in Grammom's room. Mommy decided it would be nice to have openings from the bedroom and kitchen to look out the half circle window over the front door and to peer down on the foyer. Being a bit scary to allow us on those openings, windows were put in and then we pushed for the napping ledge, COOL huh!

SETZER is in the hospital!

For the last week he hasn't been eating as much and now hardly at all. He also has puked a bit. This morning he stayed at the vets for bloodwork and they reported high liver enzymes so he will be there for a couple days for treatment. If he doesn't get better he will need more tests. He wasn't even acting sick, still playing, jumping around....so this is a big shock. We are all upset and ask for your prayers. He will be 4 tomorrow...I pray we get better news then. Mommy came home from shopping with a BIG surprise for us......a new cat tree! Ya know what...I think Lilly & Laila have the same one!

ONE LONG KITTY!

Tink, " Toy's the head and I am the tail! Tee Hee." Mommy calls this her lighthouse. This is the reason a new kitten is put in a very large cage when mommy can't watch him. I never minded the cage 'cause it has a second floor and a hamock.

HUMAN CATWALK

Tink," That's Toy over there, next to the screen our humans had to put up for our safety. Sometimes when we chase each other, and that's often, one of us will jump up carelessly. Looking down from the screen is a 20' drop to the foyer!

"Look at that big bird!" .....Tinker, Toy, & Setzer are used to the harness and spent lots of time on the deck, last year! They will be so happy when it is screen in and we are going to put up a pole for them to climb and scratch! Spring is taking a bit longer to arrive this year. : (

NEW DECK

It's raining, cold, and windy so mom had to find a photo. This was taken about 2 weeks ago, we haven't had much snow here for the last 2 years but it is always windy. The deck is 14 1/2' long & almost 11' deep. Not real big but even getting it up safely was a chore. The floor of the deck is over 9' high and our human's had to go up on the deck roof to put down a rubber roof!

Our Kitty Ledge

Here I am on the kitty ledge. Mommy likes it when we play up here 'cause her computer setup is at the other end of this ledge. There are interior windows and mom likes to decorate the flower boxes during holidays. It gets all sparkley around here during Christmas.

Ty and I love to watch TV. Mommy will notice me looking at it and line up the chairs so we can get a better view. We just got the chipmonks DVD.....yeah!

Hi, ........yup, I am the brave, "Puss N' Boots," awaiting a new adventure in my tree house. It's one of my most favorite places to be. My first mommy was rescued from the streets of Philly, and handed over to a rescue group called, "Save the Cats, Inc." Then they found out she wasn't alone, my two sisters and I were hiding inside our mommy! We were lucky 'cause all of us were adopted! Now I just have brothers, I like them, especially Tinker.

This is my brother, Tang....he is sort of the show off in the group. He knows how to make those "Puss N' Boots" eyes to get anything he wants, but he really is a very cool guy. OK Tang, it's your turn......I am going to get a snack.

I am a rescued Bengal mix and I will be 1, May 4th!
Our humans built this cat ledge right off the spiral stairs to the third floor. Sometimes we scare mommy and pretend we are going to jump down from them......it's funny, she keeps saying , no no...you will get hurt.......hurt? Well maybe if we land on one of the walking furballs!
